Roca Inaugurates New Logistics Centre
Roca Ceramica has built a second Logistics Center at its site in Castellon, Spain; this forms part of the group's 'Integral Order Management System'. This system encompasses everything from order reception to packaging and dispatch. It is directly connected with production planning which ensures efficiency, promptness and zero errors.
The new centre - located on the Belcaire Industrial Estate in Vall d'Uixo - occupies 12,300 sq.ft. and can store close to 40,000 pallets. It is interconnected with Roca's logistics facility and together they ensure better and more efficient service world-wide for orders of all volumes, from full pallets to highly sophisticated packing.
On another front, Roca Ceramica received the Grand Prize earlier in the year for its amazing stand - which occupied 1,400 sq.ft. - at the Coverings 2005 exhibition in the USA; the display featured the very latest in ceramic design, technology and decoration.
