Rotary Kiln Development from Riedhammer

Riedhammer GmbH (Nürnberg, Germany) has just announced a successful development in the area of high temperature products - a new continuous process for powder, pellets and granulates.

With the commissioning of a newly developed, high temperature rotary kiln for a renowned Scandinavian customer, the company says it has achieved an important breakthrough in the market for valuable substances and pollutants.

A spokesman added: "The excellent results open new opportunities also in the field of the chemicals industry. Riedhammer can offer an alternative to existing kiln systems in both market segments offering considerable economical advantages for prospective customers".

The unit is an indirectly heated rotary kiln with ceramic rotary pipe for products which should not come into contact with metal during the firing process. Temperatures up to 1500°C at the product are possible.
