Pebblevale Chosen for Major Disposals

Following the highly successful factory liquidation of the Twyfords sanitaryware factory in Queenborough, Kent, England, Pebblevale Ltd (Sneyd Green, Stoke-on-Trent, England) has announced the signing of two more sales contracts to dispose of three redundant ceramic factories in Stoke-on-Trent.

The first contract is with the Wedgwood Group to sell the remaining assets of its two Johnson Brothers sites - Eagle Pottery and Alexandra Pottery. Both of these sites were producing high quality tableware and will be closing between now and the end of the year. Pebblevale will be responsible for the complete disposal of the plant, machinery, fixtures and fittings.

These include: Isostatic Presses; Lippert Casting Machine; Malkin 6-Colour Printing Machine; Drayton Glost Tunnel Kiln; Sliphouse Machinery; plus a vast selection of ancillary equipment.

The second contract is with Shires Bathrooms to dispose of that company's Trent site in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent. This is a complete sanitaryware factory capable of producing 500,000 pieces per year.

Included in the sale will be: Porvair Pressure Casting Machines; 2 Drayton 60 cubic metre Intermittent Kilns; CDS (Ceramic Drying Systems) Dryer; Casting Benches; Sliphouse Machinery; plus all ancillary equipment.

The complete listing of all the items on the three sites can be viewed on Pebblevale's web site: http://www.pebblevale.com/
