Nutec Bickley Acquires GFC Kilns

Nutec Bickley has acquired GFC Kilns’ Intellectual Property and hired its key employees as part of the integration process. GFC is an Australia and China based kiln company with 38 years of experience in the ceramic industry.

Nutec Bickley’s new Australia office, including its China manufacturing resources, will continue to cover the Asian market including parts and service to existing GFC customers.

This acquisition, in addition to Nutec Bickley USA, Nutec Bickley Wesman in India and Nutec Europe, strengthens Nutec Bickley’s global position, said the group CEO.

In 2008, Nutec Bickley also celebrates 50 years of manufacturing kilns, furnaces and ovens for the ceramic and metal industries. Nutec Bickley (formerly named Bickley) started operations in 1958 as a kiln engineering and manufacturing company based in Bensalem, PA, USA and delivered its first Carbell® kiln to Norton Abrasives in Worcester, MA, USA. At the same time, Bickley received a patent for its famous ISO-JET® burner. With over 1,600 pieces of heat processing equipment sold and installed all over the world, Nutec Bickley has established itself as one of the premier kilns and furnaces engineering/manufacturing companies in the world.
