Nuernberg Global Fairs Pushes Singapore Venue

Nuernberg Global Fairs says that ceramics continue to boom in the Asian markets and it puts forward other arguments in support of CeramicAsia 2002 that is being held in Singapore from 6-8 March 2002. Project Manager Frank Venjakob says that Singapore is an ideal starting point for entry to the Asian markets.

"East and West meet and consult one another here. Talk turns to business very quickly and directly and English is understood almost everywhere. Among visitors to the trade fair, ceramic products of all kinds are just as much in demand as machinery for their manufacture and processing, plus equipment and accessories.

"The exhibitor profile is therefore based on this. The trade fair is aimed at both ceramic manufacturers and suppliers of measuring equipment, mould or polishing machines, coating and milling equipment, conveyor systems, baking kilns, deburring equipment, powders, additives or process materials.

"The broad international cooperation will push the 'gateway to the Asian market' wide open. We are especially pleased that we have also acquired the services of the trade associations as partners; for example, the Building and Construction Authority, the Singapore Institute of Architects and the Tile Association of Singapore. They secure our link with decision makers."

Venjakob expects the spectrum of visitors (over 3,000 last time) to be just as broad as the product portfolio and to include architects, interior furnishers, building contractors, restorers, as well as authorities and trade and legislative bodies. Also invited are suppliers and manufacturers of ceramic machinery, and manufacturers of ceramic products as well as brick companies.
