Fast Clean for 'Z' Blade Mixers

In what it says is believed to be an industry first, Winkworth Machinery (Swallowfield, Reading, England) has introduced a completely redesigned range of 'Z' blade laboratory mixers that can be dismantled for cleaning in around one minute. This feat was achieved after two years of intensive development work.

The new 'fast clean' model incorporates removable pan and blade assemblies, together with disposable seals.

Specially designed for use in laboratory environments, universities and research facilities, the new 'fast clean' option is equally appropriate for small-scale manufacturing. The trough, blades and driver endplate can be removed in less than one minute, greatly helping machine operators and radically reducing downtime from, in many cases, hours to minutes.

The 'Z' blade laboratory mixer is currently available in a range of sizes, including 0.25l, 0.5l, 2l and 4l working capacities.

An extensive range of options is available with this new range, including heating/cooling jackets, vacuum operation and control panels with data logging facilities for product traceability and research data. Additional interchangeable trough and blade assemblies can be supplied to eliminate any risk of product cross-contamination.

Full test facilities are available at the company's Swallowfield site near Reading in Berkshire, England. The company offers part exchange and finance options as part of its package.
