Laeis Bucher Launches at Ceramitec

On the occasion of Ceramitec 2000 (17-21 October 2000, Munich, Germany) the major German supplier Laeis Bucher (Trier) will introduce to a broad public the HPF II 630 R press, which has been designed for multi-functional use. This press has been designed and developed in view of the current technological trends. Originating from the world-wide successful HPF Series, the new press can be used universally in the refractory industry as well as in new fields of application. It unifies the well known technical details of the HPF double-pressure pressing system and the active mould wall with state-of-the-art electronic and hydraulic components.

Additionally, Laeis Bucher has supplemented its OMEGA press range, successfully introduced in 1999, the advanced OMEGA 2100. This features a pressing force of 2,100 tons and will also be exhibited at Ceramitec. The OMEGA 2100 has state-of-the-art hydraulic and electronic systems as well as a mechanical design which is said to unique in the tile industry. The results are energy savings of up to 25%, optimum pressing technology and top quality. The OMEGA 2100 is also well suited for applications outside the tile sector, such as technical ceramics, building materials etc.
