Kutahya Seramik Boosts Output

Kutahya Seramik's production in Turkey is set to be boosted by the installation of Sacmi-supplied plants. The company is now expanding its operations by renewing its production facilities for the manufacture of single-fire floor tile. The old presses are being replaced by three new PH2090 models and EVA792 dryers.

Thanks to the new lines, Kutahya Seramik will shortly achieve an annual ceramic tile output of 16 million sq.m. The company, which belongs to the Kutahya Porselen Group (Turkey's renowned and reportedly oldest tableware manufacturer), has a sales network across the whole world. Exports account for 45% of output and the most important markets are the USA, Canada, Germany, England and Australia.
