Iran’s Tile and Ceramic Output Up 12%
Iran’s ceramic and tile production in the first five months of the current Iranian calendar year (started 20 March 2008) stood at 69.4 million square metres, a 12% growth over the figure of the similar period of last year, says a report in the Tehran Times.
According to IRNA, the ceramic and tile output in the Iranian calendar month of Mordad (ended 21 Aug 2008) was 14.4 million square metres, showing a 7% rise when compared to the figure of the corresponding period in the preceding year.
