Four New Presses at Cerâmica Elizabeth

The important South American ceramic manufacturer, Cerâmica Elizabeth (João Pessoa, Paraíba, Brazil) has signed a contract with Sacmi (Imola, BO, Italy) for the supply of two new production lines having a capacity of 30,000 square metres per day of glazed gres porcelanised tiles.

The lines are essentially composed of four PH5000XXL presses, Imola series, with a maximum pressing force of 49,000 kN and free distance between columns of 2450mm.

Cerâmica Elizabeth already produces around 1.1 million square metres per month of wall tile and 150,000 square metres per month of porcellanato. The company also has an installed capacity of just under 1.7 million pieces per year of ceramic sanitaryware.
