Eiffelgres Launches Atmosphere Ceramic Slab Range

Atmosphere, the new collection presented by Eiffelgres at Cersaie 2008, takes as its keynote “the conceptual lightness of matter”. Simple design and tone-on-tone colour shades create a range of tiles: Arctic, Ash, Earth, Ground and Space.

The company said that Atmosphere is able to blend attractively into the features of the urban and natural landscape, in the search for a continuous equilibrium between the built environment, earth and space.

The Atmosphere slabs, intentionally oriented towards dialogue with contemporary architectural design and achieved with the aid of groundbreaking technology, are made from selected clays and minerals, skilfully mixed and proportioned, in sizes (all expressed in cm) 90x60, 90x30, 90x15, 60x60 and 60x30, 11mm thick, squared and rectified with a single working size, in three finishes: matt, patinated and chiselled.

Eiffelgres said that the surfaces of Atmosphere recount the tireless flow of time, but they do so through essential characteristics derived from the very latest technologies, including resistance to deep abrasion, frost and chemicals, and bending strength, combined with impressive beauty.

Eiffelgres was founded in 2001 by Romano Minozzi and is the Iris Ceramica SpA group leader in the production of technical porcelain slabs. The production division is located in Viano, near Reggio Emilia, in one of the most innovative, leading-edge plants in the industry. The production process complies with the strictest regulations on environmental protection, working to standards well above those set by the competent authorities. Eiffelgres products hold ANAB sustainable architecture certification.
