Villeroy & Boch Has New Corporate Development Director

At the beginning of September, Volker Pruschke took over as Director of Corporate Development, the newly founded organisational unit of Villeroy & Boch AG. The brief of this internationally experienced manager is to successfully promote strategic development in the globalisation process.

Departments assigned to this new organisational unit are Law, M+A/Strategic Planning, Market Research, Innovation, Engineering, Revision and Purchasing.

When Wendelin von Boch retired from the company, Management Board restructuring took place to enable greater involvement in future strategic matters. Von Boch was succeeded in June by Frank Göring, who heads both the Bathroom & Wellness Division and the Tableware Division. Manfred Finger continues to hold responsibility for Finance and Personnel.

After completing his business administration degree in Cologne and Paris, Volker Pruschke – head of the third organisational unit, Corporate Development – began his career at A T Kearney. In 1992 he moved to Robert Bosch GmbH, where he occupied an executive position. From 2001 until 2006 he was Director of the Garden Tools Division with its head office in England. His last position was that of Director of Central Division Marketing/Sales at Bosch.
