CIMTEC Proceedings Now Available

A set of 12 volumes totalling around 7,000 pages constitutes the Official
Proceedings of CIMTEC 2002 - the 10th International Ceramic Congress and the
3rd Forum on New Materials. The event took place in Florence, Italy from
14-18 July 2002.

This important congress was attended by well over 1,000 scientists and
experts from academia and industry, coming from over 50 countries
world-wide. Of the six volumes dedicated to the International Ceramics
Congress, four include matter related to the science and technology of
advanced ceramics and two are dedicated to the so-called traditional or
classical ceramics (whitewares, heavy clay products and refractories).

Six volumes collect selected matter discussed at the six International
Conferences that constituted the Forum on New Materials:

• Computational Modelling and Simulation of Materials.
• Mass and Charge Transport in Inorganic Materials.
• Science and Engineering of High Temperature Superconductivity.
• Diamond and Other New Carbon Materials.
• Advanced Inorganic Fibre Composites for Structural Applications.
• Materials in Clinical Applications.

The table of contents of all volumes, prices and order forms are available
on the CIMTEC 2002.
