China to Host National Expo on Building Materials
A national exposition on architecture and housing remodelling materials will take place in the capital of PR China's eastern Fujian Province from 16-19 November. The exposition - the tenth of its kind in China - is expected to attract hundreds of companies from both home and abroad.
The organisation committee of the exposition, which will be jointly sponsored by the China Architectural Center under the Ministry of Construction and the city government of Fuzhou, plans to set up a website covering the event and promoting exchanges between participants.
The four-day event will feature exhibitions of commodity housing, industrial hardware, electronic commodities, construction equipment, building materials and housing remodelling products.
Also to be held during the exposition are a series of lectures, technological seminars and industrial meetings such as the Forum on the World Trade Organisation and China's Building Material Industry, the Conference of Chinese Architects and the Competition for Environmentally-Friendly Designs of Residential Areas.
