Russian Company Offers Link to West for Ceramic Suppliers
Joint Stock Company (JCS) Ces Ref, a Moscow-registered company specialising in the refractories and ceramic industries of the Russian Federation, has extensive contacts in the ceramic, glass and metallurgical fields of industry in Russia and already represents a number of Western companies in this market.
The office is situated half way between the city centre and the airport in the Hotel Molodezhny, with full services and security. The company says it is authorised and competent to do deals with Russian customers on a rouble basis and to pay in hard currency to the foreign suppliers. Importing facilities, such as customs clearance and intermediate stocking, are routinely organised.
JCS Ces Ref is in the process of developing a direct e-mailing system for distribution of information in the Russian language directly to customers and research organisations, who it says nowadays to a large extent have Internet access. The company offers not only the possibility of representation, but also the opportunity to do small, one-off deals on the basis of combining deliveries of different companies to Russia to save on transport costs and to make use of the Ces Ref routine procedures at the customs terminal based on contractual agreements with fixed prices.
