Update on Ecers 2001 Event
The Seventh Conference and Exhibition of the European Ceramic Society (ECerS) takes place in Bruges, Belgium from 9-13 September 2001.
The official language of the conference is English. Authors are invited to submit abstracts (300 words maximum) and a preliminary registration form specifying the session in which they wish to present their paper. The deadline for receipt of abstracts is 31 OCTOBER 2000. Preliminary registration and submission of abstracts can be done on the internet by using the Web site: www.bcrc.be
The members of the ECerS Scientific Committee will decide on the acceptance of papers for oral/poster participation in the desired session or rescheduling to a more appropriate session.
Authors will be notified of the acceptance of their papers before 31 January 2001. All accepted papers will be published after peer review in the proceedings of the conference which will contain an extended four-page summary of each contribution. Papers presented at selected symposia will be the subject of dedicated issues in scientific journals.
The deadline for receipt of full papers is 30 APRIL 2001. To confirm their participation, one author per paper (oral or poster) must send a registration form and payment with the full paper.
