American Standard Declares Quarterly Dividend
The directors of the board of American Standard Companies Inc (Piscataway, NJ, USA) declared on 6 October 2005 a quarterly dividend of 15 cents per share of common stock. The dividend will be paid on 20 December 2005 to shareholders of record as at 1 December 2005.
American Standard Companies turned over US$9.5 billion in 2004. The Bath and Kitchen business accounted for US$2.5 billion of those sales and includes the world leading ceramic sanitaryware brands American Standard(r) and Ideal Standard(r).
In total - including its Air Conditioning and Vehicle Controls businesses - the company employs approximately 61,000 people and has manufacturing operations in 29 countries. American Standard is included in the S&P 500.
