Almatis to Discuss Key Changes in Refractory Industry at UNITECR
At this year's UNITECR '05, the 9th Biennial Worldwide Congress on Refractories in Orlando, FL, USA taking place from 8-11 November 2005, Almatis (Frankfurt, Germany) will discuss key changes in the refractory industry and explore their impact on refractory raw material requirements and the suppliers of these materials.
Four Almatis technical papers will share product developments of new, innovative material solutions with regard to improved workability, easy application and cost effectiveness. In addition, one paper will explore if standardisation of raw materials and their specifications is a doable, beneficial and profitable solution for meeting the challenge of a changing environment.
As part of the Worldwide Raw Materials Panel Discussion, Almatis will address the issues that refractory producers and their suppliers must face to assure the industry's supply of key raw materials.
