Training for X-ray Analysis

PANalytical (formerly Philips Analytical X-ray) has announced that it will continue with its series of Theory Schools, the next being scheduled for 27-31 January 2003. The company says that this is an exciting opportunity for those in the X-ray community to refresh or extend their theoretical knowledge of either X-ray diffraction or spectrometry.

The Theory Schools are said to be ideal for new or less experienced users who want to gain maximum benefit from the financial investments they have made in X-ray instrumentation.

The company will cover the theoretical aspects of both techniques, so attendees need not be users of PANalytical instruments. However, as one might expect, some aspects of the schools will be targeted towards some of the technological advances that the company has made in these fields.
