Sanitec Delisted

After the company filed an application, the Helsinki Exchanges have terminated trading in Sanitec Corporation shares and removed the company from the main list. Trading was terminated as from the application date of 29 October 2001 and the last day of listing was 1 November 2001.

Trading in the company's shares is no longer possible due to the fact that the arbitral tribunal appointed by the Finnish Central Chamber of Commerce decided at its session on 29 October 2001 to confirm the right of Pool Acquisition Helsinki Oy, the current majority shareholder of Sanitec Corporation, to redeem all the shares of other shareholders.

The Sanitec Group is a leading producer of bathroom ceramics and bath and shower products in Europe. In 2000, it had sales of 877 million euros and it has over 9,000 employees.
