R.A.K. Invests in Bangladesh

R.A.K. Ceramics (Ras Al Khaimah, UAE) has commissioned a major facility in Bangladesh to initially produce over 6,000 square metres of tiles per day. With this move, R.A.K. Ceramics has spread its wings to the Asian area and plans to sell its quality products in countries within the SAARC region. The company said that with a world leader like R.A.K. now in the Bangladesh market, that country is soon to witness a revolution in the tiles market.

The plant will have the latest technological features, along with the guidance of R.A.K.'s highly experienced managers and technical staff from its UAE plant.

The company said that as the first step in the industrial relocation process, this signifies R.A.K.'s commitment to supply quality products in emerging and sensitive markets with a local manufacturing base and shows its first globalisation initiative.
