QUALICER Aims to Widen Audience

In the forthcoming QUALICER 2006 (World Congress on Ceramic Tile Quality) - which will take place in Castellon, Spain from 12-15 February 2006 - the organisers will broaden the content, which could be termed traditional and which basically refers to quality in ceramic tile manufacturing and installation.

QUALICER is envisaged, from now on, to be not only a forum for debate on the quality of the ceramic tile process, product and installation, but also on the quality of all the elements, strategies and options that make up the complex network of the ceramic business world.

Both the Chamber of Commerce and the College of Industrial Engineers, as co-organisers, said they were clear that it will prove beneficial for the world-wide ceramic tile industry to explore together the existing problems and to seek possible solutions. They have thus issued a call to all interested parties to participate in QUALICER 2006 by submitting work on their speciality.

There will be three blocks of presentation, covering: Ceramic Enterprise & Markets; Ceramic Tile & Construction; and Ceramic Tile Manufacture. Both oral presentations and poster presentations will play their part. Summaries will have to be lodged no later than 31 May 2005, with the completed works in by 30 September 2005.
