Metso to Expand in PR China
It is reported that Metso Minerals, a subsidiary of process industry systems business Metso Corporation, is to invest around 15 million euros in two manufacturing units in PR China.
The Tianjin manufacturing unit will, the report says, be sited in the Tianjin Economic & Technological Development Area and will mainly produce crushing and screening equipment. This unit is expected to be operational by the end of June 2002.
The second unit, in Wuxing, will cover 4,000 square metres and concentrate on compaction and paving equipment. It should be operational in the next few months.
