CERAM Does Lunch

CERAM, the internationally renowned centre for materials and technology, based in Stoke-on-Trent, is hosting “Lunchnet 4 Manufacturers” in the West Midlands region on the 24th November. Lunchnet will be an effective way of providing an opportunity for businesses to network with one another in an informal way.

A Lunchnet event acts as a kind of speed-dating service for businesses. It provides people with an opportunity to exchange business cards with relevant firms, or develop contacts in new markets.

Each person is given a short period of time to promote their business and explain their services to a small group of people, then is rotated between the groups so that each person is able to meet everyone. Once the group rotation is complete, a buffet lunch gives attendees the chance to mingle and discuss potential opportunities in more detail.

Some 80 representatives are expected to attend from a variety of manufacturing disciplines and levels, from national blue-chip organisations to local SMEs. The aim of the event is to bring together all manner of manufacturers in order to help them identify potential suppliers, customers and collaborators with the hope of growing the economy in the West Midlands.

Lunchnet 4 Manufacturers begins at 11.30 am until 2.00pm and is being held in the Council Chamber at CERAM, Queens Road, Penkhull, Stoke-on-Trent.
