Laufen Group to Automate Glazing & Drying

The Laufen Group is looking forward to increasing and enhancing its Bechyne
(Czech Republic) and Wilhelmsburg (Austria) plants' capacity and efficiency
with the latest in state-of-the-art sanitaryware glazing and drying
technology supplied by Lippert (Pressath, Germany).

The Bechyne plant will be provided with two fully automatic robot glazing
plants for internal and external WC glazing, systems featuring an optimised
special conveyor system.

The Wilhelmsburg plant will be equipped with a Lippert high performance
superspeed continuous-flow dryer with dynamic air flow system. This has
been designed specifically for large-sized items. There will also be an
automatic robot glazing plant for large-sized basins and washstands.

Both new systems will be connected to integrated processing stations via a
