Optional Bead Door for Special Jewellery Kiln

Paragon Industries (Mesquite, TX, USA) has added an optional bead door to the Paragon SC-2 silver clay and glass jewellery kiln. The new door is designed to anneal glass beads to prevent breakage during cooling. The door is a US$30 retail extra.

The new bead door is 6.5in wide and 2.5in high and includes a removable stainless steel mandrel holder.

The SC-2 with bead door has the same basic specifications as the standard SC-2. The kiln is 7.75in deep, 8in wide and 5.75in high inside (197mm x 203mm x 146mm). It is made of ceramic fibre insulation and comes with a Sentry Xpress digital controller. It has a vent hole in the top and fires on a standard (US) 120V household outlet. The kiln's maximum temperature is 1095°C (2000°F).
