IREFCON 2002
The 5th India International Refractories Congress (IREFCON) is being organised by the Indian Refractory Makers Association (IRMA) in cooperation with the Indian Ceramic Society and the Indian Institute of Metals. The event will take place from 7-8 February 2002 in Bhubaneswar, Orissa, India.
The theme will be 'Refractories - Creating Value for Customers'. The major sessions will cover Refractories for Metallics, Steelmaking, Cement, Glass, Non-Ferrous Metals, Petrochemicals and also Innovative Applications. Associated topics will deal with refractory raw materials, additives and binders, process equipment, testing apparatus etc.
IRMA had previously reported that refractory exports from India during 1999-2000 showed an upturn to stand at a value of 550 million Indian Rupees.
