Impronta Ceramiche Embraces System's Flexible Printing Technology
By adding two further Rotodigit machines for the development of wall products, doubling Impronta equipment, the partnership between these this group and System SpA has strengthened. Impronta Ceramiche, indeed, went through with a close synergy relationship with System to study and develop this new technology.
Rotodigit matches etching printing (Rotocolor and new cylinder range) with digital printing, responding to the customer’s flexibility request in a very reliable way. The commitment by both companies achieved new machinery suitable for whatever ceramic surface, to reproduce natural stone, marble and granite in a truly realistic way; the effects can be made also on relief and high-relief surfaces and on those obtained with double pressing.
Using Rotodigit technology, Impronta Ceramiche has produced Pro.digit: drawing inspiration from natural stone, this collection of glazed porcelain stoneware loyally reproduces marbles and achieves a surface by over 10 m2 with each side different from the other, thanks to the possibility of getting high-quality graphics and different veins.
System said that Rotodigit technology marked a new milestone in the evolution of ceramic production: the obtained product is an improvement on the natural one, because it selects and reproduces only the finest parts.
