IMERYS Kiln Furniture Acquisition Completed
The previously announced acquisition of Siam Refractory Industry Company Ltd (SRIC) by IMERYS has now been completed.IMERYS said that to ensure continuity, SRIC's business activities will continue unchanged with the same experienced personnel, but new management, under the new name of IMERYS Kiln Furniture Thailand.
This business is currently being integrated as part of RC2 (Refractories and Ceramic Concepts), the Technical Ceramics Division of IMERYS.
This acquisition increases the group's product portfolio, predominantly in the fine ceramics business. IMERYS added that it also brought new technology, demonstrating a strong commitment to customer oriented product development, together with the further consolidation of a global ceramics business.
