SITI-B&T Installs New SSP System on EVO Presses

SITI-B&T Group (Formigine, MO, Italy) has reported the arrival of its new de-moulding system. This is the SSP – Syncro System Plus – an evolution of what the group describes as the already cutting edge and exclusive Syncro system, for which SITI was the forerunner in the tile manufacturing market.

The new SSP system has the same mechanical configuration as the previous version but with improved performance through the addition of a direct measuring system of the position of the bottom punches.

SITI-B&T said: “The new Syncro System Plus reaches the reference heights for de-moulding with greater repeatability and eliminates any type of deviation of the real position of the punches compared to the theoretic position requested by the control system”.

In the case of deviations that cannot be compensated, the system enters an alarm status, stopping any cycles that could damage the moulds and/or the press.
