Fast Double-Firing Plant for Belarussian Tile Company

Final testing was recently completed on a new fast double-firing tile plant at the Keramin Joint Stock Company in Minsk, Belarus - a plant similar to the production line supplied two years ago. All the machines at every stage of the process, from pressing to sorting to palletising, have been supplied by Sacmi (Imola, Italy).

Once operative, the line will produce 7,430 square metres of 200mm x 300mm tile per day. The new line consists of two PH2090 presses (of which one is a stand-by); a JMS250/25.2 horizontal dryer; two glazing machines (one of which is a reserve); an FMS250/105 biscuit kiln; a glost kiln of the same type; and a Master sorting line connected directly to the glost kiln.

The tile palletisation line is fully automatic. The biscuit is stored on racks, while the glazing line is connected directly to the glost kiln. An intermediate roller box storage system caters for emergency storage needs.
