Italian ceramic tile manufacturers look to increased potential in India
Confindustria Ceramica recently organized a trade mission to India Oct. 22-26 “with the aim of enabling Italian ceramic sector companies to harness the enormous potential of this market,” the organization said.
The week-long Indian mission involved participation in the first edition of the show BuildArch - Building the future, held in Bangalore Oct. 22-24 October at the Bangalore International Exhibition Center, and in the World Ceramic Tiles Manufacturers' Forum, held in Mumbai from Oct. 22-26.
BuildArch 2008 is an international exhibition organized by Hannover Messe devoted to building technologies and materials, including ceramic tiles. Fourteen Italian ceramic companies (Settecento Valtresinaro, Altaeco, Cedir, Refin, Novabell, Impronta Ceramiche, Ceramica Mediterranea, Ceramiche di Siena (Gambarelli), Rondine, Cir, Lord, Lea and Litokol) took part in a joint area that hosted the Ceramic Tiles of Italy institutional stand where they had the opportunity to exhibit their products.
