Bohlin Signs DMTA Distribution Agreement

Bohlin Instruments has signed a distribution agreement with Triton Technology Ltd (Loughborough, Leics, England), whereby Bohlin will act as the exclusive distributor for Triton's new Tritec 2000 DMTA thermal analysis equipment in the German, French and Benelux markets.

The Tritec 2000 product will be supported through Bohlin's offices in Germany and France, which include new demonstration and conference facilities near Stuttgart, Germany.

The Tritec 2000 is said to be extremely compact and easy to use. It is available in two different models offering extremely sensitive DMTA capability over a wide range of experimental parameters. Both units can be quickly and easily configured to operate in a range of deformation modes including bending modes, tension, compression and shear. The DMTA technique is said to ideally complement Bohlin's existing range of products, including rotational rheometers and capillary rheology products (these being marketed under the Rosand brand). In total, there are over 3,500 installations of Bohlin's instrumentation world-wide.
