Cutting-Edge Machines for Beta Group

The Beta Group, a ceramic manufacturer based in Solignano (Modena, Italy), recently inaugurated a new production facility. Sacmi played a key role in this renewal by providing the new production line with the very latest PH 4600 presses and two PH 2890 presses, which feed EVA vertical dryers.

While designed to produce large 60cm x 60cm or 60cm x 120cm tiles, the plant can also be used to make the existing range by Edimax (part of the Beta Group), the holding company owned by the Bernabei family.

Sacmi also supplied the Solignano plant with an all-new 109m-long single layer FMS 2230 kiln: featuring all the options presented at the Sacmi Forni 20th anniversary celebrations, this cutting-edge kiln provides significant energy savings.

For the company directed by Roberto Bernabei there is also a new sorting and palletising line, supplied by the Sacmi Automation division. Taking advantage of the summer production break, Sacmi pulled out all the stops to minimise assembly times and get the line up and running in record time.
