Bayer's Electronic Chemicals Business to be Consolidated
Dr Elie Saad, Bayer Corp's Director of Performance Chemicals, says that from 1 January 2002 the company will consolidate its Electronic Chemicals Business with the HC Starck Inc subsidiary.
"This business transfer will consolidate all of Bayer's electronic sector capabilities into one global enterprise, allowing us to serve our customers better by capitalizing on worldwide synergies".
HC Starck (Newton, MA, USA) is a producer of refractory metal powders, mill products and ceramic materials. Bayer Corp is a subsidiary of Bayer Group (Leverkusen, Germany).
