AVX Expands 600V MLCC Series to Include 630V Range
AVX Corporation, a leading manufacturer of advanced passive components, has expanded its high voltage multilayer ceramic capacitor series to include a 630V range. Providing a high capacitance value, low ESRs at high frequencies and low leakage values in a small package, the 630V Range capacitor is designed as a drop-in replacement for a wide range of high voltage, high frequency applications such as snubbers in high frequency power converters, resonators in SMPS and high voltage coupling/DC blocking.
AVX has expanded its MLCC product offering to include a 630V range to meet the growing demands for this specific voltage capability. This offering encompasses a wide range of applications across several industries including automotive, telecommunications, industrial and military.
The 630V range is available in RoHS, tin-lead terminations and FLEXITERM™ versions. FLEXITERM is designed to enhance the mechanical flexure and temperature cycling performance of a standard ceramic capacitor, providing a solution for applications where board flexure and temperature cycle damage are a concern.
