Atritor to Represent Ecutec

Atritor Ltd (Coventry, Warks, England) has been awarded the UK and Ireland agency for Ecutec advanced air classifiers, complementing its own range of fine milling, drying and mineral coating systems. With the minerals market particularly - and aiming for ever finer particle size ranges for added value products - Ecutec has concentrated its development on high capacity units capable of cutting carbonate fillers, for instance, to less than 4 microns.

This is said to provide process and product enhancement beyond the capabilities of most existing classifiers. There are three series of units available: the ultrafine TFS, the fine NEA, and the ALPHA range which is aimed at less than 40 micron separations.

Ecutec has a comprehensive test facility near Barcelona and is also able to offer vertical wet pearl mills, typically followed downstream by Atritor's drying, de-agglomerating and coating systems. Atritor has test facilities in Coventry where drying, fine milling, coating, classification and micronising tests can be run.
