Atlas Mining Files for Trade Name

Atlas Mining Company (Osburn, ID, ISA) has filed trade name certificates for 'Dragon Clay' in all appropriate States. The trade name Dragon Clay will be used in marketing literature provided to potential users of the unique halloysite product being produced at the Dragon Mine in Juab County, UT, USA.

William Jacobson, Atlas Mining CEO, said: "The Dragon Clay name will have a number following it to denote the quality. Dragon Clay 100 will indicate our purest quality. This product will have the whiteness and surface area used by fine china, porcelain, and ceramic users. Other products will be introduced as demand merits.

"We're seeing interest in our clay from markets we hadn't previously considered. We get calls everyday from companies working with a wide range of products and applications. It's very exciting to see such interest in our clay."

Underground mining at Dragon has now turned directly into a sizable clay bed, which has been estimated at approximately 40,000 tons of high quality halloysite.
