Nanotechnology, Fuel Cells & Ceramic Armour Sessions for ACerS Event
The American Ceramic Society (ACerS) in conjunction with the ACerS Engineering Ceramics and Electronics Divisions are hosting the 31st International Conference and Exposition on Advanced Ceramics and Composites in Daytona Beach, Florida happening 21-26 January 2007.
This is the leading conference and exposition on advanced ceramics and composites and includes topical sessions on Nanotechnology, Fuel Cells, Ceramic Armour and more. This conference boasts ten symposia and three focused sessions comprised of more than 800 technical presentations and posters discussing the latest advances, applications and successes in advanced ceramics and composites.
Key scientists, technologists, engineers and entrepreneurs are expected to come together to discover and exchange cutting-edge information. More than 75 exhibitors showcasing materials, equipment and supplies are participating in this event.

Bioceramics and Biocomposites – exploring medical applications, physical properties and processing of these materials.
Advanced Ceramic Coatings – focusing on recent advances in coating development, processing, microstructure and property characterisation and life prediction.
Advanced Processing and Manufacturing Technologies – featuring advances in a variety of non-oxide and oxide-based structural ceramics and multifunctional materials.
Porous Ceramics – focusing on processing, characterisation, modelling and properties evaluation.
Advanced Dielectric, Piezoelectric and Ferroelectric Materials – featuring the latest advances and the impact on commercial and military systems.
