Superior Graphite Wins Award for ARK Plant
Superior Graphite Co's Russellville ARK Plant has been selected by INDUSTRYWEEK magazine as a winning facility in the publication's 12th Annual Best Plants competition.
The plant was selected from over 300 facilities nominated between October 2000 and March 2001.
Overall, the competition winners report some impressive achievements. For example, the combined facilities recorded a median 36% five-year productivity increase (value-added per employee), 99% on-time delivery rates and a 60% five-year order-to-shipment leadtime reduction.
INDUSTRYWEEK is in its 30th year and has 230,000 subscribers. Chief Editor Patricia Panchak commented: "These manufacturers define world-class performance and IW is proud to celebrate the winners' success and share their stories".
