Launch of Anti-Ageing Treatments for Casting Moulds
Sacmi (Imola, BO, Italy) has launched the EVERES and LOPREM anti-ageing treatments for high and low pressure resin casting moulds.
EVERES is a special anti-ageing treatment for resin moulds that frees pores and eliminates signs of wear. The result is said to be a complete regeneration of high pressure moulds. Sanitaryware high pressure casting moulds - whether microporous or macroporous - have a working life of some tens of thousands of casts. EVERES now goes beyond simple cleaning and is claimed to fully restore original mould performance.
LOPREM is an exclusive production line treatment. To provide a solution for those aiming at both medium to high complex piece output and cost containment, LOPREM allows resin moulds to be used with capillary-effect low pressure. Thus it is claimed that LOPREM moulds provide all the advantages of resin while eliminating its disadvantages - good news, says Sacmi, for producers for whom plaster is no longer convenient and high pressure resin has yet to become so.
