Pilkington's Relaunches its Atlaz Industrial Floor Tile Range

Pilkington's Tiles Ltd has expanded and revitalised its Atlaz range of unglazed floor tiles. A new specifiers guide has been produced for the range, popular with commercial and industrial applications due to its heavy duty nature and long life. Atlaz is said to offer the highest levels of hygiene, strength and chemical resistance and has been specially designed for food processing and other demanding applications.

Lesley-Ann Blamire, Design & Marketing Director for Pilkington's Tiles Group, said: "The Atlaz range is ideal for commercial and industrial applications; we have developed this comprehensive range and specifiers guide in response to customer feedback. Pilkington's have years of experience and considerable expertise and, as a result, our technical team is able to advise on everything from sub-floor preparation, through to tile selection, to specifying the correct grout to use for maximum hygiene".

The 200mm x 100mm x 18mm Atlaz range of floor tiles is available in five colours: Grey Steel, Red, Savannah, Sandstorm and Fjord (made to order). Each tile is produced with spacer lugs allowing narrow joint installation for enhanced strength and economical use of epoxy grout.

The company has also announced that it has expanded its Matrix wall tile collection to include textures and effects incorporating three variations - squares, triangles and chevrons. These are available in 152mm x 152mm format and the geometrically styled feature tiles have been specifically created to complement the existing Matrix Plains and are further enhanced by the inclusion of Matrix Pyramid - a 100mm x 100mm dimensional profile.
