Wilden Gets Plant Engineering's Product of the Year Award

Wilden Pump & Engineering LLC (Grand Terrace, CA, USA), an operating company within the Fluid Solutions platform of Dover Corporation's Fluid Management segment, and the industry leader in the manufacture of air-operated double-diaphragm pumps, has received Plant Engineering's Product of the Year award.

Wilden received the Silver Award in the Fluid Handling category for Plant Engineering's 2007 Product of the Year for its innovative Pro-Flo X Advanced™ Series model PX1500. For over two decades, Plant Engineering has been awarding Product of the Year to companies based upon voting of its readers.

"The patent-pending Pro-Flo X™ technology is the first air distribution system for an air-operated double-diaphragm pump to incorporate an Efficiency Management System," said Gary Lent, Wilden's Vice President of Engineering. "An integrated control dial in the pump gives end users control of the flow rate and the efficiency of their pump for a given application."

"Our customers require energy improvements in their plants to achieve their 'green' targets," added John Allen, President of the newly formed Pump Solutions Group. "We will continue to invest in R&D that improves the efficiency of all of our product lines."
