Sanitaryware Range Looks Back to the 1920s

Classic bathroom fixtures first introduced by American Standard in the
Roaring 20s are back by popular demand. The Standard Collection(tm)
includes actual designs from 1922 that have been recreated to meet modern
performance standards.

"Creating bathrooms in a period style is a very popular trend in today's
homes, but finding reliable fixtures at flea markets and antique stores can
be difficult and time consuming," said Gary Uhl, Design Director for
American Standard. "By reissuing fixtures from popular eras, American
Standard is making it easier for homeowners to accomplish vintage style in
their bathrooms."

The Standard Collection offers three vintage style wash suites, including a
porcelain pedestal sink with a generous oval bowl and a console sink that
pairs a porcelain basin with metal legs accented with towel bars, and a
self-rimming, drop-in porcelain countertop sink. The Standard Collection is
available in white.

To complement the main pieces, the company has also come up with period
perfect taps with porcelain enamelled handles, a bathtub, tub and shower
fittings and a vintage style WC.
