Romania to Stage Materials and Manufacturing Conference

MATEHN '02 - the 3rd International Conference on Materials and Manufacturing Technologies - will take place in Cluj-Napoca, Romania from 12-14 September 2002. It is being organised by the Faculty of Materials Science and Engineering at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca in collaboration with the Romanian Academy of Technical Sciences.

The aim of MATEHN is to offer a forum for scientists and engineers to discuss and promote advances in knowledge, research and practice in the field of materials and manufacturing technologies. The main themes will be:

• Advanced Materials
• Metal Forming
• Powder Metallurgy
• Heat Treatment and Surface Engineering
• Metal Casting and Metal Welding
• Quality and Environmental Aspects

The conference will be enhanced by an exhibition area for those wishing to promote their products.
