Mills in Motion

For the first time, Retsch GmbH & Co KG (Haan, Germany) has produced a video which demonstrates application areas and operational features of the new Planetary Ball Mill PM 100.

The viewer is presented with all necessary details about the design, performance and application areas of this planetary mono mill. The innovative operating concept is explained in detail and a realistic computer animation visualises the functional principle of the mill.

The mill is suitable for grinding materials such as ceramics, chemicals, minerals, ores, rocks and soil samples down to the submicron range. Even mechanical alloying is possible. Retsch says that an energy input which is up to 50% higher than that of comparable mills guarantees excellent results even after short grinding times.

The PM 100 video can be downloaded from the company's web site - www.retsch.de - or a free CD can be ordered from the company.

More operation and application videos about Retsch devices are to follow soon.
