Papers Invited for Materials Congress 2004

Papers are being invited for the biennial event staged by the Institute of
Materials, Minerals & Mining (IoM3) which will next be held in London from
30 March to 1 April 2004. Materials Congress 2004 will cover all aspects of
the materials cycle, from minerals exploration and extraction, through
minerals processing to land reuse, and from raw materials through materials
processing, product manufacture and applications, to materials recycling and
reuse.

All areas of materials will be covered, including metals, polymers, ceramics
and composites. The scope covers the science and technology of materials
including: chemistry, physics, synthesis, structure, processing,
characterisation, properties and applications.

In particular, there will be emphasis on new and improved materials, recent
developments and their applications. A number of hot topics have been
identified within the broad scope of the event. The technical programme
will run as a series of parallel one-day symposia, each with its unique
materials theme, supported by world-class Plenary speakers and poster
sessions.
