Linn Launches High Temp Furnace

Linn High Therm GmbH (Germany), for 36 years a leading manufacturer of industrial and laboratory furnaces, has now announced the launch of its HT-2000-Graphit high temperature furnace for multi-purpose heat treatment.

The system will be operated with U-shaped graphite heaters. The insulation will be accomplished by the combination of ceramics felt and graphite felt. The furnace chamber can have the following options: gas tight furnace chamber, hydrogen operation, gas feeding and burn-off device, safety package, vacuum with vacuum pumping system up to 5 x 10-5 mbar, standard usable chamber volume of 4l to 52 l.

The furnace features a maximum temperature under reduced and neutral furnace atmosphere up to 2000°C; continuous temperature up to 1950°C. On request, furnaces can be adapted to a temperature of 2800°C but with a smaller chamber volume.
