Countdown to Glassman Europe

Glassman Europe 2003 takes place at the CNIT Conference & Exhibition Centre
(Paris La Défense, France) from 14-15 May 2003. The organiser was upbeat
about the exhibition part of the event, which was 95% sold out by March and
with over 150 exhibitors confirmed for this first showing in Paris for
Glassman.

A two-day conference programme has been incorporated into the exhibition
hall and key industry issues will be addressed. Attendance is free of
charge for all registered exhibition visitors.

Day 1 will be presented by the Institut du Verre which is organising seven
papers on the subject 'Materials for Hot Metal Contact'.

Gaz de France is organising Day 2 of the conference and the overriding theme
will hinge on a series of presentations concentrating on methods to optimise
energy and reduce emissions.

Official sponsors of the event include British Glass, FEVE, Institut du
Verre and SGT together with trade magazines Glass and Glass International.
Glassman Europe 2003 is the 17th International Glassman exhibition organised
