Much Improved Performance by Dynasty Heralds Expansion
In the first quarter of 2002 the Thai tile producer Dynasty Ceramic PLC reports that it increased profits by 174% to 93 million baht. This was achieved on sales totalling 558 million baht. Income at Dynasty's subsidiary Tile Top also rose in the first quarter.Production - which had already increased to 1.5 million square metres per month - will be increased by more than 50% by this time next year. The expansion will take place in phases: to 1.7 million square metres this month, to 1.9 million square metres in November 2002, to 2.1 million square metres in February 2003 and up to 2.3 million square metres per month in May 2003.
